The World Ju Jitsu Federation was founded in 1976 with the aim of
promoting the study of Ju Jitsu. It was formed to help organise, control
and develop the art in Britain and throughout the world. With these
objectives in mind the WJJF holds national and international courses
in Ju Jitsu technique as well as promoting the proper coaching of
this art.
The WJJF has always been a pioneer in development and because of the
far-reaching interest shown by people throughout the world, it is
deemed necessary for the introduction of a qualifying correspondence
course.
Membership is open to any club or groups of clubs practising Ju Jitsu
to a standard approved by the WJJF. The WJJF does not discriminate
on the grounds of style and welcomes affiliation from both traditional
and modern schools. The WJJF also welcomes applications from individual
students. |
